Read Only

Is there a way to set a document so that certain people can only open it as a read only? Reason, we have a shared document that several people need to access and change, but one person seems to be in there looking around alot. She may need to access the info, but we want her to only have read only access so we can use the form and change it at the same time she's looking at it.

Have you tried to save it with a modify password, so only the person who has it can alter it?.

Before you save the file, click on the options button in the save window. If the file already exists and you want to add a password, select "Save As" instead of "Save". You'll see the options button on the right. Once you've selected your options, save the file using the original's name.
