Remove template wizard reference... HELP!

Posted by Jeff on May 16, 2001 10:01 AM

I have a workbook with several worksheets. One of them used a template wizard at one point to save data to an Access database. I don't need the sheet anymore, so I removed it. But now, when I save the workbook, it's looking for the database (which I don't need now so I've erased it) and I can't find out how to remove the reference to the database and template wizard! I've deselected the checkbox in the Add-in menu for Template wizard but still no luck--any suggestions?

Your help greatly appreciated
Jeff

Jeff, Dave Hawley put a good list out that also helped me.

In the address bar (ULR) change the end number to 16161 and go to Dave's note. The Microsoft utility helped me. if you use it you need to close the Excel default workbook so only the toolbar and topline Excel stuff is active then run the utility, the instructions are not real clear on this point. It will ask you what workbook do you want to check, so you don't need it open to run the utility. Hope this helps you.
