Solving an equation

Anybody help?
I am attempting to use excel to solve an iterative equation.
I need to adjust one cell, which in turn will alter the value of another cell,
to achieve a balance from a third cell.
Using Goal Seek does not apper to work.

Any clues?

Try solver, you may need to add it in.
Tools/Add-Ins/Solver

Or allow Excel to use iterations.
Tools/Options/Calculation/Iterations (checked)
