is there any safe way to protect vba module in excel 97/2000 ?

so far all password protections can be broken :(

I always just go into the VB Editor and VBA Project Properties and click lock project for viewing ans enter a password.

I haven't found a way to break in once that is done, what methods to break in have you seen?

You could turn your code into an AddIn, that should protect it for sure.

setting password on vba module is no use can remove it in 1 sec (excel 97 not sure 2000)

I looks like that demo version has a limit on the number of characters your VBA password can be, my passwords just happened to be 7 characters long and it didn't work.

If your users/customers get a copy of the full version I think your in trouble.

Good Luck, thanks for the info.
