what's wrong with my worksheet? please help

i'm working on a file that i haven't touched in over a month. all the sheets contain a variety of formulas (links to cells within the same sheet, links to other sheets, links to other files). also, there are some simple macros in this file.

now that i'm back in the file, none of the formulas will refresh. i hit F9, i do TOOLS->OPTIONS->recalc, etc. nothing works.

the only thing i can do is select a cell, click on the formula bar, and click enter. only then will the cell refresh. i can speed up the process by selecting an array of cells, clicking on the = sign next to the formula bar and then clicking the check sign for each cell in the array...very tedious.

what's going on with the worksheet? how can i refresh so the formulas will update? thanks.

the file is set to AUTO CALC, btw. thanks.

Try using CTRL+ALT+F9 instead of just F9. This will force Excel to recalc (it's a known bug).
