Wrap Text effect before reaching the end of the cell

Posted by Dwight on November 08, 2001 5:55 AM

Probably a dumb question, but is there a way to get several lines of text entered into a single cell as separate "paragraphs" even if the cell is much wider than each line. For instance:
John Doe
100 First Street
Chicago, IL

I would like to be be able to enter it into a single very wide cell & have the row height automatically expand and contract as additional lines of text are entered or deleted, just as it does with wrap text.

Any help?

Here's how

To do a wrap of the text in a cell in whatever specific place you want, press Alt+Enter
