MrExcel Tip 8 November

In last weeks tip (which I found very useful) it states that: "There is a simple method with in a pivot table to have the date field converted to weeks, months, quarters or years."

Have I missed something? I can't find the option to convert the date field to weeks. Can someone please explain if the date field can be converted so that data is summarised by calendar weeks.

It is the "group and outline / group" function, found with a right click on the field. Choose days, and choose 7 in the "number of days field." As far as matching calendar weeks, that's different. You might need to add an empty row with a start date of Sunday to make that work.
