Locking Changes

Hi,
I have a report that is due every two weeks. I have the report update itself from an other workbook that is posted to daily. I have the report pasted linked to the workbook. Is there a way that I can “take a picture” of the report every two weeks and stop the automatic updating from the workbook yet still keep the data and format?

Hi Ed

Not too sure I follow you, but you can "Take a picure" of any data in excel by selecting your range and then holding down your Shift key go to Edit>Copy picture.

You may want a way to do this automatically, but if manual is okay, you could right click on the tab select "move or copy" (make sure to click the create a copy box!) and copy it to the same or a new workbook. This will preserve all formats, etc. No just copy the whole worksheet selecting the box next to A and above 1 (I should really learn the names of these things) and paste special value.

Good luck and forgive me if this is stating what you already know.
