Enable Macro Message but no macros involved

Posted by Mary Sue Darwent on February 16, 2001 1:06 PM

I have several spreadsheets (Excel 97- on NT & WIN95) for which I get the "enable" or "disable" macro message on opening. There are no macros and also no module sheets in these workbooks. I've also checked for named ranges--none found. These worksheets have been checked for viruses and the styles list is clean and normal.

Can anyone give me any other ideas as to what can cause these bogus macro messages?

Right click or the sheet tabs & select View code.
If any code in the worksheet excell object modules
then delete these.......do this for every sheet.
