General question about macros

Good morning,

Yesterday I found for the first time your site and for me it is very interesting because I'm a new unexperienced user of Excel.
I took a look in some sections and some things I tried out. I have a problem and therefore I have a general question about macros.

In the section Tips and Solutions for Excel I have seen the VBA Macros - Samples. I tried to copy for instance a macro in a module of my new workbook.
The problem is that the macro is one very long line and than I have to correct it in the module.
But when I have done that (with _ at the end of each line) I cannot work with the macro, it doesn't function.
What can I do to copy a macro from your site into my module?
Maybe it is good suggestion to put in your site the macros in a manner that they can be copied easily.

Many thanks in advance for your answer.

Best regards,

Eric

The "_" character you use as a line-continuation indcator must be preceeded by a space character. It therefore looks like this: " _"
