Locking window whilst running macro.

How do I lock the current window whilst a macro is running.

This was possible in Lotus 123 with what I remember as the
Panelon panel off command.

Can you do the same in Excel 2000

Have you tried using Application.ScreenUpdating = False or Application.Interactive = False in your macro?
