password protect macros

I know this has been covered below, but I still can't get it to work. I go to the VBAProject properties > Protection and enter the password, save it and then exit, but when I reenter the project it will not ask for the password. I recheck the properties and the password is still thier, what am I doing wrong.

Did you check the "Lock project for viewing" box on the protection tab?

Yes I have tried it both ways, get the same thing.
