Paste special macro

There is an operation that I repeatedly have to perform. It is paste special/text. I want to be able to have a macro that after I copy the data in a cell I can point to another cell and click a macro that will allow me to "paste special"/"text".

"paste special"/"text" ? Do you mean PasteSpecial/Values ?
In any event, you can create a macro to do this with the macro recorder. Adjust the recorded code by replacing the receiving cell reference with the word "Selection" (without the quotes).
