I posted a message recently on running a macro as a cell changes - I have since found Tip 006 that tells me how to do it using
Private sub worksheet_change

however the cell i wish to change is via a drop down list in validation and the method does not work!!
Any ideas??

Hi Duncan,
I've had this exact problem, I changed Private sub worksheet_change to Private sub worksheet_selectionchange, but the only thing is that this way it will run when you select the cell instead of after you change the cell.
