Visual Basic Question

Let me try this again.

I was wondering if there is a difference between the Visual Basic 6.0 that I got with Microsoft Office 2000 (I use it with Excel) and another Visual Basic 6.0 program. I like my Excel file so much that I want to put it into a program. I bought a book entitled "Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 Professional." Is that another type of Visual Basic program? Will I be able to create an entire program with the Visual Basic that I have already on my computer?

Thanks,

Marianne

Yes there is a difference ....the Visual Basic that comes with the office product is actually Visual Basic for Applications and unlike Visual Basic it cannot run outside of it's host application. The two languages are similar but not the same.
