disabled

Hi !. I have installed Office 2010 and when I enable the developers tab, there are some buttons that are disabled... Such as... The first button of the ribbon is disabled and when I press "Insert", the second group of components are disabled... Does anyone knows how to solve this ?.

Hi I have a userform that contains a textbox within the code when a criteria is met it is disabled with a text message "select file type" when it is displayed the text is grey with a white shadow which makes it hard to read how can you change the style of text when it is in a disabled state. thanks
