What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Hi,

Try conditional formatting.
For Condition 1, set 'Cell Value' ' Between' 1 and 179, click the [Format] button & select red from the 'patterns' tab.
Click [Add] button for condition 2, etc.

I don't really understand your question, but it sounds like conditional formatting - Format menu\conditional formatting

Enter the parameters, i.e., value between 1 & 179, then set the format if this is true.
