I am trying to create a formula that would give me informatiom back for each month and a YTD total

If cell a2 = "January" give me the number in cell b2 on sheet 2
if cell a2 = "February" give me the number in cell b22 on sheet 2
and so on all the way through December and a Year to date Total.

is it every 20 cells, would March be B42?

If so try

=OFFSET(Sheet2!B2,(MONTH(1&A2)-1)*20,0)

Thanks Barry I am not an expert in excel so can you give me an explaination of what this formula is doing step by step, I tried to plug it in and it did not work.
