I inadvertantly saved 2 macros with the same name and now it is confused (not responding). if I open the workbook w/o macros, I can see both listed but of course can't delete one
Now what?
Thanks Theo

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
Welcome to the Board!

If you open the VB Editor (ALT+F11) and goto the Module where the macros are stored (probably Module1), you should be able to just rename one (unless I'm really missing something).

Hope that helps,

Smitty

Hi there, welcome to the board!

Why would you not be able to delete one? When you try, what happens? Can you open with workbooks without macros enabled? What version of Excel is this and what is the file type?
