2 questions

Hello:

I have 2 questions.

Question 1: I have windows 98, but I don't have a printer. When I'm using excel and I want to use the print preview and/or the page setup, it won't let me. A message comes up to tell me to set up my printer.

Is there a way to bypass this so I can use "print preview or page setup" without a printer. (I don't want to print it) ?.


Question 2: Is there a way to enter 2 lines of information into 1 cell?.

I know I can do it in WORD and FILEMAKER by just hitting the return key, but in excel when I hit return it goes to the next cell.

For your Question 2: Hold down the ALT key when you finish the first line and then hit Enter.


I don't know about Question 1, though...sorry.

Q1.
If memory serves me right, you can add a generic printer without any 3rd party SW, but this only allows you to print text. If you have the drivers for a printer, you should be able to install them and use the print preview.
