2 workbooks not talking to each other??

hi all
i have 2 work books:
work book 1 and work book 2 both have the same sheet1 lay out, i would like to use paste link to feed the information from work book1 sheet1 to work book 2 sheet1 but when i use paste link its leaving 0:00 in the blank cells is there any way which if a cell in workbook 1 sheet1 is blank it stays blank in workbook2 sheet1
The area i would like to paste link is Columns A to AL and Rows 1 to 106
below is the formlua which paste links puts into work book2 sheet1

If a cell contains a formula it can't be blank, but you can try:

=IF([workbook1.xls]sheet1!A1,[workbook1.xls]sheet1!A1,"")

Try ='if([workbook1.xls]sheet1!A1>0,'[workbook1.xls]sheet1!A1," ")
