Hi there,

I am trying to open a spreadsheet created in Office 2007 in my version of Office 2003 - can anyone tell me how to correct the following formula which returns a #NAME? error?

=_xlfn.IFERROR(IF(AND(MONTH($D7)=MONTH(I$1),YEAR($D7)=YEAR(I$1),MONTH($E7)=MONTH(I$1),YEAR($E7)=YEAR(I$1)),NETWORKDAYS($D7,$E7+1)*$B7*$F7/$C7,IF(AND(MONTH($D7)=MONTH(I$1),YEAR($D7)=YEAR(I$1)),NETWORKDAYS($D7,J$1-1)*$B7*$F7/$C7,IF(AND(MONTH($E7)=MONTH(I$1),YEAR($E7)=YEAR(I$1)),NETWORKDAYS(I$1,$E7)*$B7*$F7/$C7,IF(AND(I$1>$D7,I$1<$E7),NETWORKDAYS(I$1,J$1-1)*$B7*$F7/$C7,0)))),0)

Thank you

IFERROR does not exist in 2003 - you would have to remove all references to this. Also, the nesting limit in 2003 was only 7 nested formulas. Not sure if that formula exceeds the 7, just be aware that there is a tighter limit.

You could use this UDF to make IFERROR work, although I think it's probably wiser to use traditional IF(ISERROR()) method...

Code:
Function IFERROR(Result As Variant, Replacement As Variant, Optional Alternative As Variant)

If IsError(Result) Then
    IFERROR = Replacement
Else
    If Not IsError(Result) Then
        If IsMissing(Alternative) Then
            IFERROR = Result
        Else
            IFERROR = Alternative
        End If
    End If
End If

End Function
