Hi

I'm using Excel 2007.

I have a simulated vehicle dashboard in a chart that uses telemetry data to operate a tachometer and speedometer.

I put a logo image onto the chart dial face for asthetics.

Now I can't see the needle at all positions as the image covers it.

I have tried making it transparent, bringing the needle forward and sending the image backward, all to no avail.

Is there any way to keep the logo and continue to see the needle at all times?

Cheers, InaCell.

Hi
- The first link shows an alternative, which is to place the logo outside the doughnut area.
- The second link is a cool speedometer, although without a logo. However, if you change the background image…
The round one is the original, mine is the square one, and both are functional.

Hi Worf

Have seen option 1, doesn't meet my requirement of image on dial face.

Option 2 might have to be it unless there are any further alternatives

OR, I just get rid of the image.

Cheers, InaCell.

Setting the transparency within excel and not the image itself worked for me on this occasion.
