Hi,

I've sending OCRd text to Excel 2019 and have 3 questions please

When pasting, a wee box appears saying "Cntrl" with a dropdown list that covers stuff I want to see. Can I stop that happening?

Sometimes a cell gets a heavy underline. Is there any easy way to restore all cell borders to normal ?

Can I set all text to the same thing? I tried control-A then Font name & size, but not everything changes.

Thank you.

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).

No... it is a default option that actually solved your second question

Click the Ctrl box and look at the options... Do you want to keep source formatting, paste values only, paste all... once you move on, this toolbox goes away

I have no explanation without playing with this... but you can remove all formatting first(ALT H E F one at a time) and then do the steps you said

Thanks. ALT H E F has helped a bit. That annoying box I found goes away with ESC.

It does, but explore that box each time until you get used to it... you will have some EUREKA moments from it.
