A command like Spike in Word

Does Excel have a command similar to the Spike command in Word where multiple images (cells) can be cut from a worksheet and then pasted as a whole to another sheet, workbook or application?

I've never knowingly used the Spike function, but cutting and pasting cells to another Excel sheet / Excel workbook is easy, using normal cut(copy) paste functionality.
This can also be done to some other applications.
