Hi,

Is there a way to set Excel or any office applications to open from a specific
folder. For instance.....I go to File and then Open. I want it to
default to a folder of my choice instead of opening under My Documents
each time. If I change to a folder of my choice it will still default
back to My Documents after the Office application is closed. Thank you so much for any guidance/tips. (y)

Are you changing the default file location, or are you simply saying that you change it when you open a file?

Tools\Options\General will have a space where you can specify your default folder.

Kristi and DRJ...Thank you so very much. Much appreciated. (y) (y)
