I'm using this code:

Code:
Application.DisplayAlerts = False
Sheets("New Purchase Order").Delete
Application.DisplayAlerts = True
Worksheets("0000").Copy before:=Sheets(Worksheets.Count)
Worksheets("0000 (2)").Name = "New Purchase Order"
Worksheets("New Purchase Order").Move before:=Sheets(1)

to make a copy of a template worksheet named "0000" as "New Purchase Order" and then move it to the beginning of the workbook.

My question is...

Can I add something to the line with the copy statement in it so that it names it as it copies it??

And...

Because the sheet I am copying is hidden it also hides the new "New Purchase Order" sheet so is there a command to unhide the sheet??

Thanks!! :)

Hi,

to my knowledge you can not copy and name in one go
try this
Code:
Option Explicit

Sub copy_sheet()

Const newShName = "New Purchase Order"
Const templateShName = "0000"

Application.DisplayAlerts = False
Sheets(newShName).Delete
Application.DisplayAlerts = True

Sheets(templateShName).Copy before:=Sheets(1)

    With Sheets(1)
    .Name = newShName
    .Visible = True
    End With

End Sub
kind regards,
Erik

To Unhide your sheet, use this...
Code:
Sheets("New Purchase Order").Visible = True

To call your new new sheet something else use...
Code:
ActiveSheet.Name = "Sheet Name Here"
