So was wondering if anyone had a solution or was experiencing this same problem, but when I use the VBE, and close it, if I keep Excel open and lock my computer, the VBE will randomally be open again after I unlock my workstation. I am using Windows XP Professional and Office 2003. Its not a huge deal, I just need to close out VBE each time, but was wondering why it would do such a thing or if I can switch it off. I have tried pressing the red X and selecting the Close and Quit to Excel Option in the File drop down menu (ALT+Q) with no avail. Wacky!

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
is that after running one particular workbook

sounds like a timer in the code

Ive tried all sorts of things, I even closed Excel completely, started a new workbook and simply opened the VBE and made no other changes. Closed the VBE, locked the computer and sure enough, there the VBE was! Staring at me in the face, mocking me.

Im guessing I am being called upon by the Excel Gods to write a brilliant code of some sort that will transform how we write code forever more, just wish it wasnt so cryptic!

I cant remember what they are called, there's an autobook, and also a personal code book that can be loaded,

Well I did some searching, amazing what you can find if you actually start looking! Turns out its some weird bug, if you have the VBE fully maximized it will have the problem. I minimized it and made it the size I wanted, and BINGO! It worked!
