say in cell C93 I have a total
then in D94:V94 I have subtotal sums
in D95:V94 i have subtotal average which is not correct in this case because it does not count empty cells.

so i wrote this but i need the denominator5 to be an absolute reference

Range(Selection, Selection(1, 19)).FormulaR1C1 = "=(R[-1]C)/(R[-2]C[-1])"

i D95 is this formula which is correct

=(D94)/(C93)

but in E95 is this: (E94)/(D93)

and i need the denominator to remain C93

and i have several groups so i don't know the roe or i could find it with selection.row but ya know...

i got it.
as usual making it more difficult than it was.

For i = 2 To 21
Selection.Offset(2, i) = (Selection.Offset(1, i)) / intTechCount
Next i
