How do you make a table read percentages.

example i have a table im doing on wire pulls.

some i have a c for to show complete and some i have percentages for to show progress.

how can i make the table read the percentages and report them accuratley

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
Are the "C" and the percentages in the same field?
If so, what is the property structure of the field. Text, Number, etc.?
