I'm using Access 2010 version. When I open the file and click on a form, for some reason, Access closes without any messages and does not restart. Does anyone know what causes this? Thank you.

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Sounds like some serious corruption as I can't imagine anyone would make it do that on purpose. I would copy the db and then try a compact & repair on it. If that doesn't fix it, then I'd decompile/recompile it. Here's one of many links you can find on the subject.

Look in event viewer to see if Windows/Access reports any errors?
