I am trying to run one of my database and getting an error : "Reserved Error (-3087); there is no message for this error"

Any idea why this error is coming? I am not able to run my queries.

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
I found a description on the Microsoft site, but it does not appear to be much more helpful:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/186543

When exactly do you get this error?
Can you open the database at all?
Does the error just occur when running certain queries?

The error comes when I run append query while grouping records. I am able to open the database but not able to run append queries.

Perhaps you are using a reserved word as a field name or alias in your query. I did a Google search on "access error 3087 append query" and came across a few instances of this.

If you cannot figure it out, post your query here (change your query to SQL view and copy and paste the code), and maybe something will stand out to us.
