Here's my setup: I have a master form, where a user will enter a part number. I then have a subform that is linked to that part number that will tell the user additional warehouse storage locations. I don't want the part number to be repeated in the subform, I just want to show the additional storage locations, but the additional storage locations are based on the part number.
So, I included the part number field in the subform, but I don't want it to be visible. I changed the 'Visible' field on the property sheet to "no", but the field still appears. In layout view, I tried again to use the property sheet to set visible to no, and it says "You can't hide a control that has the focus."
I can't seem to Google a good answer for what that means. I'm not using VBA and I'm not sure if I need to?
Thanks in advance for your time!
