Hi,

I have a form in my database which all looks pretty in design view. Whenever I open the form though it seems to be larger and consequently the form doesn't look right. I've set all the necessary fields to "no," such as AutoResize, Dividing lines etc. but still can't solve it.

Am I missing something basic here - I'm used to building forms in Excel so I'm not fully familiar with the interface.

Thanks,

Kev

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
You can set the size of a form using the MoveSize action. Have a look in the help for the parameters. You may have to play around withg the size to get to how you want it look though. Have you created the form in one resolutiion and viewing it in another? Just a thought.

Ok, will have a play. I'm viewing the form as I am creating and it always comes out wider - even when I try to set the width in form view.

Another option is to change the border from Sizable to Dialog.
That will force the form to open minimized, without affecting the other forms. I'm assuming that you have the application maximized?
