Hi All,

Can anyone help me with some example code that extracts data from an Acces table, then when changed in Excel, an example of code to write the data from Excel back to Access.

Any assistance would be much appriciated.

Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying

Regarding your question, there have been numerous threads here over the years about updating data between Access and Excel (you should be able to find some by searching the forums). But the first question I would ask is, is it really necessary? Is it possible to do it all in Access instead, and avoid Excel altogether?

Hi Joe4,

My apologies for the cross post I wasn’t aware of the need to note the cross post.

Joe, as I think you know from an earlier thread, I'm new to Access, but have done a lot of VAB work in Excel.

You are probably correct about doing it all in Access, but at present I'm experimenting.

I really would be grateful for some example codes.<o:p></o:p>
