Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
It seems to me that yes, what you are asking for is possible and there are in fact a few options available to you for interfacing Access and a larger database. But I doubt anyone can actually build such a database for you without a bit more specific information (even then, it may be something you would want to hire a consultant for rather than trying to piece it together from forum posts - it sounds like you need a lot done here, not just some tips).
