When using excel, I somehow activate some cells outside of the range of the data i am working with.

When I select CTRL+end, it takes me to a cell in BFE...

When I add or delete a column or row, a pop-up message reads that it's an emormous process and will take more then 60 seconds.
My Excel is always Freezing.... >:-(

When I try to delete all the cells I don't need, (from the end of my data to the edge of the sheet), it seems like there is still more active area than I want.

I know going to A1 and saving is supposed to do the trick... but is there any other way because sometimes I forget to do that, and also, just pressing save freezes my excel for about a minute or two.
