Hi guys,

I wonder if it's possible to activate VBA in a shared excel file. There's no a 'Macros' button under the 'View' tab.
Currently, I am only able to see the button of "Record Action" under 'Automate' which opens a screen for writing a script (I'm not familiarized to this and I don't know how it works), but is there the possibility to change the file from xslx to xlsm so I can add a Macro? If not, do you have any other solution?

Thank you any help or idea is really appreciated:)

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Imagine a scenario that more than one person is using the workbook at the same time. That is why it is not really meant for shared workbook.

See if this discussion helps

Thanks guys, referring to the discussion link that Zot provided. Based on my situation, do you think this would help? If so, do you know how to do it?
