I need some code that will give me the contents of a active cell on a hidden sheet
without activating the sheet
Is this possible?
Can you help?

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
My understanding of ActiveCell is that it cannot be used for a particular worksheet; it is a property defined for the Application and Window objects. If you want to determine the active cell contents for a given sheet, you must first make that worksheet active in the current window. If there is no worksheet displayed in the active window for the application object, ActiveCell would return nothing.

You could try something like this:

Dim Info as Whatever
Info = Sheets("Hidden Sheet").ActiveCell

Is that what you were looking for? If not, will you offer a bit more information?

i understand that you mean contents of a cell in hidden sheet
apply name to the cell before hiding the sheet than you don't need to unhide the sheet, insert the name you apply to a formula.
