Hi guys

I have constructed a template via the template wizard. This template adds the new record to the database only when save is clicked (which I understand to be a standard operation using excel templates). However, when I run a save macro (activeworkbook.save), all it does is save the file, and doesn't add the record to the database. Does anyone know why or how there might be a way round this?

Thanks

Dave

One of the steps in the template wizard is whether you want to include the record in your database. The default is "no, skip".

Ensure that you change the check to "yes, include" at this step and your database should be updated.

The only other issue may be that you do not have the template correctly mapped to your data.
