Hey there everybody,
I'm working on a sheet that checks if one's answers are correct, based on given answers column.
I want that if a cell value equals to the cell next to it, the cell will turn green (or red if it's not)
I managed to achieve that using conditional formatting,
but the problem is that I need to recreate the same rules over and over again.
That is because if A1=B1 it turns green, but now I need A2 to equal B2, not B1 again - so I can't include A2 on the same rule.
Is there any way of doing so?

Thanks in advance!
(PS English isn't my mother's tongue, so if anything isn't understandable, let me know and I'll explain myself again, thank you)

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK

The CF should adjust automatically if you don't use $ signs in the formula.
Either ..
  1. Select A1:A?? and apply the CF with formula =A1=B1, or
  2. Select just A1 and apply the formula and then go back in to Cf -> Manage rules and edit the 'Applies to' box

Not using $ signs did the job, thanks a lot!
