Hi everyone,

I've got a list of 700+ phrases that I'd like to refer to at numerous points throughout a workbook.
I'd like to copy and paste this list throughout the workbook, so used named ranges so I can refer to those specific cells.
I thought this'd be easier rather than manually selecting & F4ing for the absolute cell references the entire time (e.g. =$A$7, =$A$8)

I've used 'Create from Selection' to name them all as the following:

Phrase1
Phrase2
Phrase3
etc.

Is there a quick way to type in one cell '=Phrase1', and then drag down a formula so it continues to add one to the named range and populate the entire list (Indirect? Offset?)

Thanks in advance!

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
If your named ranges are phrase1, phrase2, phrase3, ... try:

=INDIRECT("phrase" & ROW($A1))

and copy down.
