Add a vertical line on a chart at specific month, with x axis in years

Hi, I'm looking to add a vertical line into this chart at December of the 1st year as per the picture example below (I just inserted a line but I need it to be dynamic).

I've found some useful tutorials that show how to do this, but their examples have the x-axis in months.

However, I need the x-axis to be in years, rather than months, and I'm a bit stuck! Is this even possible? Thanks in advance.
