I have two spreadsheets. Both have a column of student IDs. On one of the spreadsheets, each student ID has it's respective completed grade count. I need those grade counts to populate into a blank column on the other spreadsheet, matched to their respective student ID. Not all student IDs in the second spreadsheet have completed grade counts (either they never registered, dropped or have yet to complete the course).

How can I do this? Thank you so very much for your help!

Kindly,

Michael

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
solved, thank you!

vlookup worked like a champ, though it was much simplier than I thought (for this instance). This will actually help for a whole bunch of stuff I am doing on this report, so thanks ahead of time!
