I would like to display the file path and file name in the footer when I print an excel spreadsheet. Does anyone know how this can be done without manually typing out the path?

Thank you,

-Shane

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.

I do not know who John Walkenbach is, but his tip worked perfectly. Although, I had to create the sht variable with:
Dim sht as Worksheet

Thank you very much.

If you have not visited John's site, then I would suggest spending some time looking at his code samples, and general XL tips. He is a very well known and well respected author.

I will do that. I find the "Help" in Excel not very helpful and extremely limited. It is wonderful there is a forum like this for exchanging ideas. I will look into Mr. Walkenbach's site and look forward to posting again.
