Add in not showing custom functions in cell on typing "="

Hello! I am new here. I have been learning vba since last few days. I have created custom functions and then created add in by saving excel file as xlam. Then I installed add in. My functions appear in insert function (excel 2007) and they work properly. I however want them to appear when I type "=" in cell just like when the built in functions appear in excel. Is there any way can this be done? Looking for the views and help here. Thanks.

One note: the custom functions appear on typing "=" if they are in general vba module of that workbook. They however always appear in insert function.
