i use workbook_open event to enter to application.cation the path
i want the caption to change with the path address of the active workbook whenever i open any workbook.

Excel Facts

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Application.Caption = ActiveWorkbook.FullName
or
Application.Caption = ActiveWorkbook.Path
Depending on what you want...
I would place these in Workbook_Activate so the
caption would change whenever a workbook is activated.

thanks Tom
but my question was how to do it for any workbook i opened without the need to add the event into ThisWorkbook module of each excel workbook

To do that you could put the code in your PERSONAL.XLS or an Add-In that is installed each time you start Excel.

You will need a Class Module to use Application level events. In Help choose the WorkbookActivate Event and click the link "Using Events with the Application Object". That tells you how.
