Add to a chart Legend

I have a chart that I deleted a series from the legend. Is there a way to add the series back to the legend? Using Excel 2000...

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
Sort by date Sort by votes
Right click on the chart, choose source data and select the series tab, simply click "add" and select the cells containing the data and the series name.

I might not have your question right but if your question is adding a series to the graph there are several ways.

Method 1
1. Right click on the chart.
2. Select source data
3. Select the series tab
4. Click add and fill in the info for the data series.

Method 2
1. Highlight the data to add to the graph
2. Copy the data to the clipboard
3. Select the chart and paste it in.

If you have just deleted the legend entry (not the actual data series), and you want to get it back, you must remove the legend from the chart then add it back again (using the chart options dialog - legend tab).
Note that you need to remove the legend then click OK to the dialog, then go back in & add it again.
