Hello Experts,

I know how to add a best-fit trend to a 2D chart but I cannot manage to add the trend my 3D stack chart (2 series).

Is there a way to do this. Plus is there a way to add the trend to a chart as part of the worksheet?

Any info is greatly appreciated. I did turn to excel help page but no help so far.

Thanks,
Nee

It is not possible to add a trendline to a 3D chart. Also, it is not possible to add a trendline to a 2D *stacked* column chart.

Of course, a 2 series 3D stacked column chart is more for visual effect than anything.

I am not sure how to interpret "add the trend to a chart as part of the worksheet" If you mean you want the equation coefficient in worksheet cells, check the LINEST function as well
