adding 2nd field and 3rd field in combo box

I'm new with using Access. In my table, I have field one as entry number, field two is last name, and field three is first name, and lastly the 4th field is email address. Is there a way to populate the combobox with just the last name first separated by a comma, then first name? Also, inside the property sheet, under the format tab, what does the seperator characters do, and how do I use it? I noticed that there is an option for a comma from the dropdown. Thank you.

You can use a query to concatenate your fields in an order you want and use characters as part of the process.

The separator characters are for when your have chosen the rowsource to be a value list - a list of values that you must type in. That isn't applicable to your situation.
